Maintaining the focus on the professional figure of the Art Therapist, the course aims to illustrate some general lines of Dynamic Psychology. The proposed theories and techniques will be associated with a part dedicated to practical application, in which the possible application areas will be analyzed thanks to the direct testimony of the teacher.

Creativity in the developmental age: analysis of the relationships between play, dreams and drawing and methodological aspects of the theories of education in relation to art.

Reflection on the symbolic and social dynamics of cultures in reference to artistic matter and creativity, explored and compared in the various geographical and historical declinations.
Symbolic imagination, intuition and aesthetic perception in different traditions.
Reflection on the social impact of art and the impact of society on art.

Historical origins, regulatory references, educational horizons and applications of art therapy in the clinical, educational and social fields.
Main models and variations of art therapy and art counseling.

Practical techniques of artistic therapy, approach to color, gesture in the context of artistic therapy.
Practical workshops of drawing, painting, plastic manipulation, collage.

Art therapy applications in childhood: positive impact on behavior, development of personal resources and expressive skills, knowledge of oneself and own emotions.

The portrait and the photographic self-portrait as a representation of story and medium for the communication of emotions.
