Visual communication, graphic design, corporate identity, artistic direction: these are the fields in which Artemio Croatto operates in his Designwork studio founded in Udine in 2002. Some of the most important brands of Italian and International design are among his clients, as well as famous publishers and important cultural institutions.
In 2010 Foscarini draws him into the artistic direction of the “Inventario” publishing project, and in 2014 he wins the Compasso d’Oro Award ADI. In 2013 he started collaborating with the MART museum in Rovereto and the Mondadori Electa publishing house, to cure the image and the communication sector of various exhibitions and catalogues. At the same time Hearst Magazine Italia assigned him the graphic restyling of the Elle Décor magazine. Starting from 2016, he elaborated the logo and the image of the Galleria Nazionale d’Arte Moderna e Contemporanea of Rome, and handled communication of events and exhibitions held by the Museum. In 2017 Treccani assigned him the graphic restyling of the Treccani.it portal and he also began his collaboration with the Biennale for the realization of a graphic image for the Mostra del Cinema di Venezia.
From 2005 to 2011 he taught Visual Communication with Faculty Design and Art of the IUAV University of Venezia and from 2018 he was a professor of Visual Communication3 with the Accademia di Belle Arti of Udine G.B. Tiepolo ABAUD in Udine.
