Giovanna Durì started her activity as book designer in 1979. In 1983 she started working for the Ferruccio Montanari Studio where she collaborated with projects for national magazines and cultural publications. The Studio cured the images of publishers such as: Eri, Edizioni Rai, Fratelli Alinari, Firenze, Art’e Fotografia and others, together with graphic layouts for events and great national exhibitions.
In 1989, together with Laura Morandini she founded the CDM Studio that initially also handled advertising graphics. In 1994 she started an activity called “Lavori Laterali” together with Lorenzo Mattotti that originated several National and international exhibitions. She has been dealing with publishing and coordinated image for cultural events since the year 2000. She writes and cures catalogues and exhibitions that have illustration as a theme.
