Scilla Mantovani

She was born in Tuscany in 1964, she studied goldsmithing at the Istituto d’Arte di Porta Romana in Florence.
She attended the Central Saint Martins of London.
In 1992 she started her career as a Set Stylist for the Twist Design Studio with Artemio Croatto. She collaborated with several companies such as Foscarini, Agape, Arteluce, Flos and Fantoni. She is working more and more as artistic director and as a location manager for video and cinema productions.
She had a significant collaboration with director Ruth Borgobello for the realization of the movie  The Space Between, shot in 2016, that was selected to represent Australia at the Oscar Awards for best foreign film.
From 2014 to 2016 she worked at the realization of the You + Me accanto allo studio +fortuna catalogue winning the AIAP Women in Design Award.
She has been collaborating with the Accademia di Belle Arti of Udine GB Tiepolo since 2018 teaching Chinese students how to create an artistic portfolio to get into fashion faculties through the creation of a specific moodboard  working on the artistic side of each student
She has been teaching set Stylist in the ABAUD short courses section since 2019.
