Terra di Fiume
The project aims to celebrate the Tagliamento, one of Europe’s last major free-flowing rivers, highlighting its environmental, historical and cultural value. The research explores the relationship between the river and the communities that inhabit it, focusing on memory, landscape and a sense of belonging. This research leads to the proposal for a multidisciplinary museum and research centre, organised into two complementary structures dedicated to cultural dissemination, research and education. A light and integrated architectural approach translates the relationship with the river into an accessible experience, contributing to the Tagliamento’s recognition as a cultural heritage.
