BA Admission
To be admitted to the BA Program, applicants must hold an Italian high school diploma or an equivalent qualification obtained abroad or in Italy but recognized as suitable.
Students holding an Italian diploma in artistic studies or an equivalent qualification are granted direct access to the program.
Students with a non-artistic or non-related high school diploma, or an equivalent qualification obtained abroad, recognized as suitable, must pass an admission test to enroll. The admission test consists of a motivational interview and an assessment of the basic knowledge required to successfully follow the course of study. Basic knowledge may be verified through a technical test (either in person or online) or through the discussion of a portfolio.
MA Admission
Applicants to the Master of Arts Degree Program must hold an Italian Bachelor’s Degree corresponding to the requirements of the course, as well as any other qualification obtained abroad, recognized as suitable by the Academy in compliance with current regulations and international agreements.
Students holding an Italian BA in disciplines related to the chosen study path are directly admitted. Based on the documentation submitted during the application process and verification of the requirements, as well as the documents confirming the candidate’s educational background, the Admissions Office will issue a direct admission letter.
Students holding a Bachelor’s Degree not related to the course they are applying for must pass an admission test. The admission test consists of a motivational interview and the evaluation of a portfolio of the candidate’s original works. In exceptional cases, a technical test may be required as a substitute for the portfolio.
Registration with Reserve: Students who will obtain their Bachelor degree by the winter session of February/March of the academic year following the one for which they are applying for enrollment, may be registered with reserve for the first year of the two-year program. If the Bachelor degree diploma is not obtained and the reserve is not lifted, the registration will be canceled.
