Sara Ricciardi
Artist, designer and creative director. She lives and works in Milan. She graduated in Product Design from NABA in 2015 and founded her own studio, developing projects spanning product design, interiors, installations, performance and art direction for international companies, brands and institutions. Her approach is rooted in the interplay between storytelling, materials, craftsmanship and experimentation, encapsulated in the principle “Form follows poetry”. She has received major recognitions, including Elle Decor’s Young Talent Award and the title of Designer of the Year 2024 by the Italian Cultural Institute of São Paulo, and has been included in the AD100. Alongside her design practice, she is engaged in research and teaching in the fields of Social Design and Relational Practices.

Dante Donegani
After graduating in Architecture in Florence and completing a Master’s degree in Design at Domus Academy, he began his professional career collaborating with Olivetti. In 1992, he co-founded the D&L studio with Giovanni Lauda, creating products for Italian and international companies such as Luceplan, Edra, Rotaliana, Radice and Viceversa. He has designed numerous projects in the fields of lighting, furniture and industrial design, establishing himself as a leading figure in Italian product design. Alongside his professional practice, he has pursued an extensive career in teaching and education.

Alessandro Confalonieri
Design Director at frog, where he leads innovation projects for international companies and organizations, with a focus on service design, product design and interaction design. After studying at the Royal College of Art in London and pursuing a professional career that led him to collaborate with internationally renowned studios and companies, he founded design practices in both the United Kingdom and Italy. Today, he coordinates multidisciplinary teams in the development of products, services and digital experiences that combine innovation, strategy and tangible impact. Alongside his professional practice, he teaches design, with the aim of passing on the skills and experience he has gained in the field to new generations.

Paolo Giachi
After graduating in Architecture in Florence, he founded his own studio and embarked on an international career that took him to Asia, where he collaborated with prestigious fashion houses such as Prada, Miu Miu and Jil Sander. Upon returning to Italy, he developed projects for Tod’s, Hogan, Louis Vuitton, Fendi, Brioni, Jimmy Choo and Teatro alla Scala. He served as Director of Design and Architecture at Clinique La Prairie in Switzerland and has taught at Politecnico di Milano, Domus Academy and Istituto Marangoni. With over thirty years of experience, his studio develops residences, boutiques, hotels and exhibition spaces worldwide, with a design approach that combines elegance and identity.

Roberto Zancan
PhD and Professor of History and Theory of Architecture at HEAD–Genève (HES-SO). He served as Deputy Editor of Domus and has held research and scientific leadership positions at major international institutions, including the UNESCO Chair at Università Iuav di Venezia and the Canadian Centre for Architecture in Montréal. Founder of the Ground Action group, he has pursued extensive research, curatorial and publishing activities focusing on architecture, landscape and interior design. His work has been selected for major international events, including the Venice Architecture Biennale, Ljubljana Design Biennial, Lisbon Triennale and Manifesta Marseille. He is the author of numerous publications, including L’architecture par l’intérieur, Intimacy Exposed and Nocturnal History of Architecture.

Alessio Princic
Architect and university professor. He graduated in Architecture in Ljubljana and subsequently in Venice, before founding his own architecture studio in Udine in 1990. Alongside his professional practice, he has developed a significant academic career: since 2016, he has been a Full Professor at the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Ljubljana. He has also taught at the University of Maribor and participated in numerous workshops and conferences in Italy and abroad. His projects have been presented in numerous group and solo exhibitions in Italy and across several European countries.

Marinella Senatore
Multidisciplinary artist who, for over twenty years, has developed a practice rooted in participation, pedagogy and the creation of shared knowledge. Her work spans light installations, tapestries, collage, drawing and performance, engaging communities in more than twenty-four countries. Drawing on theatre, music, public celebrations and folk traditions, she creates a contemporary mythology that reflects on belonging, visibility and transformation. Her work has been presented at major international institutions and numerous biennials. In 2026, she was named Artist of the Year by the National Gallery of Modern and Contemporary Art in Rome.

Gian Maria Tosatti
Italian visual artist whose practice explores themes of identity, history, and the political and existential dimensions of contemporary life. His work focuses primarily on large-scale, site-specific installations conceived for entire buildings or urban areas, often created through the involvement of local communities. In 2014, the international magazine Domus named his installation My Dreams, They’ll Never Surrender among the ten best exhibitions worldwide that year. From 2021 to 2024, he served as Artistic Director of the Quadriennale di Roma. In 2022, he became the first artist to represent Italy at the Venice Biennale as the sole artist of the National Pavilion. He is also an author and journalist, a columnist for Corriere della Sera and Il Sole 24 Ore, and the author of essays on art and politics.

Maurizio Bortolotti
Art critic and curator, currently based in Milan. He served as Director of Research and Public Program at the Himalayas Museum in Shanghai, becoming the first Italian curator to hold a position at a Chinese museum. His research focuses on the relationship between art, architecture and social processes in urban space, with particular attention to the dynamics of globalization. Since the early 2000s, he has explored the Asian art scene, working across South Korea, India and China. He has curated projects and exhibitions featuring international artists such as Yona Friedman, Rirkrit Tiravanija, Tomás Saraceno, Olafur Eliasson and Ai Weiwei.
