ANNUAL PROGRAM: ART THERAPY

The Annual Art Therapy Course at ABA UD aims to promote theoretical and practical knowledge of Art Therapy in its various forms, specificities, and expressive codes. As a cross-disciplinary professional intervention, Art Therapy can be applied universally to different types of users and work contexts, particularly in the educational, therapeutic, and rehabilitative fields.
The course is designed to train experts in artistic-visual language and relational skills, capable of supporting individuals through artistic practice. It presents the creative experience as a tool for greater self-awareness, enhancement, and appreciation of one’s abilities. Graduates will be able to collaborate within therapeutic, work, and educational teams, acting as support and consultancy figures in synergy with doctors, psychologists, teachers, educators, and trainers in both the public and private sectors.

The course is structured both for those who wish to integrate cross-disciplinary art therapy practices into their work as therapists, teachers, artists, psychologists, and trainers, and for those who intend to explore Art Therapy as a standalone discipline and profession.
The program includes 240 hours of training, delivered in a blended format, with experiential in-person training spread across 10 weekend sessions and online lessons.
