MASTER’S DEGREE IN PRODUCT DESIGN
The world of contemporary design is facing increasing complexity: on one hand, the need to continuously innovate products and processes, and on the other, the urgency to integrate environmental sustainability, advanced technologies, and new materials. In this context, companies and professionals in the field must develop cross-disciplinary skills capable of responding to the rapid changes of global markets, anticipating consumer trends, and transforming creativity into concrete and innovative solutions.
The two-year Master’s Program in Product Design trains professionals capable of interpreting the needs of the contemporary market, applying advanced technologies, and addressing environmental and social challenges through innovative and sustainable design solutions.

The Program integrates theory and practice, offering a multidisciplinary education that combines technical, creative, and strategic skills.
Students learn to manage the entire design process while developing a critical and conscious understanding of the designer’s role in contemporary society.
The program explores key topics such as technological innovation, environmental sustainability, and brand identity, fostering a design approach that harmonizes functionality, aesthetics, and ethical responsibility.
Teaching Methodology
The Program adopts an integrated teaching approach that combines theoretical lectures, practical exercises, and project work.
Students work on real and simulated projects, often in collaboration with companies, public institutions, and start-ups, gaining hands-on experience across all stages of the creative and production process.
Interaction with instructors from the professional worlds of design and industrial production promotes the acquisition of up-to-date operational skills.
Particular emphasis is placed on multidisciplinary teamwork, applied research, and the effective presentation of projects through digital tools and prototyping.
Graduates will be able to work as Product Designers, Brand Designers, or Eco Designers in manufacturing companies, design studios, consulting agencies, or innovative start-ups. The skills acquired enable them to operate across a wide range of fields—from industrial design to sustainable design and strategic brand development.
The multidisciplinary training also provides the opportunity to pursue a freelance career, collaborating on research, development, and innovation projects, or contributing to the creation of new entrepreneurial ventures in the fields of design and green technologies.
