This study analyzes the creative universe of Hayao Miyazaki, co-founder of Studio Ghibli, exploring how his works address themes such as environmentalism, personal growth, pacifism, and criticism of modernity.
Through the analysis of iconic films like Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind, My Neighbor Totoro, and Spirited Away, the research examines his distinctive style, the influence of Japanese culture, and his global impact. Comparisons with other filmmakers and critical sources help outline Miyazaki’s lasting legacy in cinema and contemporary culture.
