He was born in Salò in 1969. After his high school degree in applied art he moved to Venice where he graduated in 1992 at the Accademia di Belle Arti (110/110 e lode), under the guidance of Maestro Sculptor Gianfranco Tramontin.
In the same year, after being awarded the national sculpture award “Omaggio ad Alberto Viani”, he started his artistic career that led him to participate to 65 group and solo exhibitions, both on a national and international level. His works can be found in museum and private collections in Italy and abroad.
He participated to two International Architecture Exhibitions (the Biennale di Venezia 10° CZ_VPI2006 e 15° Reporting from the Front 2016) and to one International Art Exhibition (la Biennale di Venezia 54° Eastern Boarder 2011). Since 2017 his works have been permanently exhibited at the Bugno Gallery in Venice.
In 1992 he started teaching at the Istituto d’Arte of Gargnano in the province of Brescia; since 2000 he has been a tenure professor at the Liceo Artistico Statale in Venice. And since 2017, he has been teaching courses on “Planning and realization of ceramic sculptures” (special course) at the Accademia di Belle Arti of Venice.
